This Cookie Policy explains how CareConnect PH uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our web application. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data.

By continuing to use CareConnect PH, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this policy. You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings (see Section 5) — although some features, such as staying logged in, may not work properly without them.

CareConnect PH currently keeps cookie usage to the minimum needed to operate the Service.

Essential Cookies

Purpose: Firebase Authentication session cookies and local-storage entries that keep you logged in, remember your selected role (client or provider), and maintain your session across page reloads. Without these, core features of the Platform would not work.

Examples: firebase:authUser:*, careconnect_user, careconnect_mode.

Analytics Cookies

Not in use

We do not currently use analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics). If and when we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before enabling them.

Advertising Cookies

Not in use

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. CareConnect PH is not an ad-supported service.

Preference Cookies

In use

Purpose: Remember your UI preferences such as dark mode, language (English/Tagalog), and previously viewed content within the Platform so you don't have to re-set them each visit.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our Platform are set by third parties we rely on to operate the Service:

5. How to Manage Cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying logged in and using many features of the Platform.

6. "Do Not Track" Signals

Our Platform currently does not respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals in a special way, because we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where required, notify you through the Platform. Please check back periodically.
